DIY: DREAM CATCHER MOBILE WITH HANGING PHOTO DISPLAY

So the festive season has already begun, like many of you i take lot of pictures. I vividly remember those days when we were forced to printout in order to see the pictures, sadly these days the pictures we take stays in our camera roll or social media feed more, than on walls, photo albums. Anyway this very easy and quick diy will force you to print out at least few pictures haha! Lets get started..

                              YOU WILL NEED
  • Embroidery Hoop
  • Embroidery Floss
  • Pegs
  • Decorative Items ( feathers, leafs etc)

At first i wrapped the ring with masking tape. Next i roughly sketched the pattern i wanted and created the same look with the floss, as shown above.

Here are two images- first one is of real leafs and another one is fake which i made out of paper. At first i painted the real ones but later i realized that it would not last longer so i opted fake ones. For the paper leaf all you need to do is- sketch, cut, paint and let it dry .

Cut 4 pieces from floss, at equal length and attach them at the four corners of ring. Cut some more floss as long as you want your photos to hang at and thread through the pegs. Do the same process for remaining.

From the above.

And display your favorite pictures like this. Happy Holidays!
