THE REVAMPED FANNY

MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL.

The fanny pack is back as a contemporary belt bag. What could be more relaxing than not having to carry slung low at the waist, giving a break to the arms and shoulder?  The current must have and a fashion statement is convenient, functional and chic from lunch to dinner, Simultaneously goes along with numerous outfits.

My dad's, an unattractive fanny pack- This is some-what 25 years old I believe. I like to treasure vintage items, this was one of them. I have no clue why did I treasure this though, nor do I know much history about it. Maybe it was meant to get invigorated by me after two decades. LOL
Whilst arranging my closet and fabrics this popped out, as soon as I saw this I immediately wanted to energize with available materials I had.

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Fanny Pack
  • Paint Brush
  • Black Acrylic Color
  • Hot Glue gun / Fabric Glue
  • Rhinestone/ Stud - As you desire.

Start off by painting the entire surface.

Next, I wanted to embellish but not the whole surface. So separated the studs as an individual from the trim.

When the color dries completely, Decide the placement of stud first. Start gluing with hot glue or fabric glue.
Let it dry and
VOILA!
